On Monday Mike and I went with his friend, Fred, to Catalina. Fred's father-in-law owns the plane pictured and he was so generous to let us use it.
We took off from Chino at about 9:00, the morning haze is still lingering in the hills.
The view from above the Pacific was incredible.
Fred let Mike fly the whole time! Luckily he had been practicing right seat so he was able to land and everything.
I love how the sunlight reflecting on the wing shows all its details.

The water is sooo clear.
This is our dream...to one day own a plane and a huge hangar!

GORgeous pictures! we went to catalina once and rode around on golf carts...but flying above it is definitely better.
