A GIRL!!!

We are stoked. So are all the ladies in the fam because girls are super fun to shop for :)

Wedding Series Pt. 2: Details

I had a great time obsessing over every detail of the wedding and reception. Really! Here is the result of my micromanaging :)

Crystals were hung from a tree on brown ribbon.

I designed this table and my dad built it!! Isn't he great?

I bought the cake stand off craigslist from a retired cake decorator. It was all old and whitish/yellow, but I just gave it a fresh coat of gold paint and it looked gorgeous! Cupcakes were designed by a lady from my home ward and decorated by her and bunch of other helpers.

The cake was decorated by my friend Jenna who is sooo talented! I made the hair piece from a fake flower, a button and beads. And I found the necklace at Decades!

I loved all the beautiful flowers! A friend from my home ward did all the flower arranging. When I got to the reception I was blown away by what a great job she did. There were flowers everywhere!

We took our invite pictures in a photo booth and I designed the invitation based on that. Here are my shoes and our rings!

So many people helped make this day perfect! Thanks everyone!

Wedding Series Pt. 1: Us

I have been meaning to put wedding pictures on my blog for the last 9 months. So here they finally are!

Airshow at Hill Air Force Base

Today Mike and I went hiking. It's kinda hard to hike being pregnant just because I need to eat and pee about every 20 minutes. But we still had a lot of fun and it was a good work out!

Mike kept taking pictures of me while I was eating my cliff bar. So I got him back :)

So Much Fun!

Mike and I traveled to California for a small vacation. We surprised my brother and sisters and got to see all of Mike's family. It was such a great vacation, we got to do a lot of fun stuff.

We went to the beach with Mike's parents and his sister's family. After I got home I realized I had missed a spot with sunscreen! OUCH! It kept getting worse until it reached it's peak pinkness (shown in the photo).

On Memorial Day Mike and I too our niece and nephew to the park. Then we went over to my parents house for a little while where they played with animals and water balloons.

Tyrel kept getting Ellie wet so we had to put her clothes in the dryer. In the meantime my mom found some strawberry shortcake panties, which look so huge on her! I thought it was cute (hope it's ok that I posted this, Sam!)

After we went on Pirates of the Caribbean, Ellie wanted to know "where are the pirates?" When we spotted one she was so excited to take her picture with him! I thought she would be scared, but this girl loves her pirates.
